TERMS OF TRADE

Ski Transport Shuttle

  • Adventure Xpress Limited accepts no responsibility for delays beyond its control or cancelations due to weather conditions or natural disasters.

  • Adventure Xpress Limited products and services are sold subject to the Carriage of Goods Act 1979.

  • Gear transported in the dedicated ski carrier must be protected to avoid damage. Adventure Xpress Limited takes all care and no responsibility for the damage of any gear carried in the ski carrier. We recommend ski and snow board bags. If the carrier is too full to carry any gear, it will be stored inside the bus. Gear without bags, will not be stored inside the bus.

  • Adventure Xpress Limited undertakes to use its best efforts to carry you and your gear within a reasonable timeframe, but does not guarantee to do so.

  • Smoking or the consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted on any Adventure Xpress Limited’s vehicles.

Customer Telephone Contact

You must provide Adventure Xpress Limited with telephone contact number (mobile number) for the purpose of our operations staff facilitating your service leading up to and at the time of transfer.

Private Charters

By using our services, I / We agree to any reasonable costs (minimum charge $250) that Adventure Xpress Limited incur from loss or damage to Adventure Xpress Limited’s property caused by our passengers.

Reporting Time at Pickup Point

You must report to your pickup point 15 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Failure to meet this report time may result in the delay of your service. Adventure Xpress Limited is not responsible for lost time due to late passengers.

Dangerous Goods are Prohibited in our vehicles

For safety reasons, articles such as the following must not be carried in your luggage or anywhere in our vehicles:

  • Firearms or weapons of any description. This includes but is not limited to, Guns, Knives, Archery equipment.

  • Corrosive materials (such as alkalis, acids, wet cell batteries, mercury).

  • Explosives (Fireworks and articles that are easily ignited).

  • Flammable liquids and solids Poisonous, toxic, infectious substances.

  • Radioactive materials.

  • Compressed Gases (Deeply Refrigerated, Flammable, Non-flammable and Poisonous).

  • Other dangerous goods (such as offensive or noxious materials).

Animals

Guide dogs are welcome on Adventure Xpress Limited vehicles. Please notify the presence of your guide dog at the time you make your reservation.

Passenger Mobility

Passengers who require somebody to lift them on and off the vehicle must arrange for these services at their pick up and drop off points. Adventure Xpress Limited’s drivers are not permitted to participate in carrying passengers on and off the vehicle.

Extent of Liability

The Liability of Adventure Xpress Limited for damages resulting by reason of the personal injury or death of a passenger may be excluded in accordance with the Accident Insurance Act 1998 and the Accident Insurance (Transition Provisions) Act 2000.

Cancellation and refunds

Bookings are essential and boundaries apply.

We generally do not offer any refunds. Having said that, we look at every situation on a case by case basis. Payments must be made within 7 days of booking. If payments are not made within 7 days, the date will be opened up for other parties to book. If you decide to change your booked date, we can do that free of charge, only if that date is available.

The following can not be carried on our bus

  • Walker frames

  • Electric wheelchairs, self propelled wheelchairs

  • Scooters, bikes and e-bikes (these must be pre arranged at time of booking)

  • Dangerous goods

While every intention is to run on time, Adventure Xpress Limited accepts no responsibility for delays beyond our control.

Adventure Xpress Limited reserves the right to refuse travel to any passenger deemed to be in an unfit state to travel.
