I started the Snow Express with a simple goal: to provide affordable, safe and reliable private transport to three incredible Canterbury ski fields — Mt Hutt, Mt Lyford and Porters Alpine Resort.

Adventure has always been a big part of who I am. I grew up in a yachting family, spending summers exploring the Hauraki Gulf, the Bay of Islands, the Coromandel and plenty of other amazing corners of Aotearoa. Those adventures sparked my love for the outdoors, discovering new places, and making the most of the incredible country we get to call home.

I’m a down-to-earth Kiwi ‘wild’ woman who has never been afraid to give something a go. Life has taught me to be tough, resilient, adaptable and hardworking — qualities that have definitely come in handy behind the wheel!

Over the years, I’ve worked hard to gain all classes of New Zealand driver's licences, giving me experience across a broad range of vehicles and driving environments. My experience includes everything from driving underground in gold mines, to operating truck and trailer units throughout the South Island, driving tour coaches, and providing private touring and transport throughout the South Island.

So while Snow Express might be a relatively young business, I’m certainly not new to driving, looking after passengers, or getting people where they need to go safely.

These days, alongside running Snow Express, I work as a contract tour driver and continue to grow my wider transport services. This includes providing transport for weddings, events around the Canterbury region, school sports groups, private groups and other special occasions.

I feel incredibly privileged to be able to do what I love for a living. I get to drive through some of the most beautiful parts of Aotearoa, meet people from all walks of life, share adventures and spend my working days doing something I genuinely enjoy.

For me, the best part is being able to share that joy with others — whether it’s helping someone experience the mountains for the first time, getting a group of mates safely up the mountain for a day of skiing, or simply making the journey itself part of the adventure.

For me, driving isn't just about getting from A to B. It’s about creating a great experience along the way.

I’m passionate about providing transport that is safe, reliable, friendly and hassle-free, so you can sit back, relax, enjoy the journey and focus on the adventure ahead.

I’m young in business, but I’m serious about what I do. Safety is always my number one priority, and I’m always looking for ways to improve — whether that’s improving the way we operate, the service we provide, or the experience our passengers have.

I’m also the first to admit that I’m not perfect, and I don’t pretend to be. What I can promise is that I’ll always be honest, upfront and genuine with my customers. If something doesn't go to plan, I believe in communicating openly, taking responsibility and doing my best to put it right. I’m constantly learning, improving and looking for ways to do things better.
